UV Lights Give You Power Over Germs

Ultraviolet lights give you power over germs by destroying them before they get a chance to harm you or your family.  When they're used in conjunction with high-efficiency air filters, you will be provided with the highest indoor air quality possible.

UV lights can be installed into your air system so that all the air circulating through your house gets filtered through them.  Ultraviolet lights have a very low level of radiation that is harmless to you but can alter the DNA of microorganisms in your air.  This immediately kills viruses, fungi and bacteria that are floating in your air, preventing them from reproducing and spreading.UV Germicidal Lights

Ultraviolet lights work even when your heating or cooling system is off.  Any time air is circulating, it's being filtered.  This means that if you leave your HVAC system off for several days while away on vacation, you will still return to a house full of germ-free air.

UV lights have been shown to be so efficient at preventing the spread of disease that they are often used in hospital air filtration systems.  Fortunately, they are accessible and affordable enough to be used in residential and commercial spaces as well to improve indoor air quality.

It is important for you to realize that UV lights alone cannot completely protect your air quality.  They do nothing to reduce the level of non-living pollutants such as pet dander or pollen.  For maximum indoor air quality, consider also installing a humidity control system But when ultraviolet lights are used with high-efficiency air filters, you will get the highest air quality possible.

When choosing a UV light to incorporate into your HVAC system, it's important to get one that's compatible with your system so you will not require any modifications.  An HVAC specialist can help you determine the best model for your home, since each situation is unique.
